Christopher Robert Evans, born on June 13, 1981 is an American actor. His acting career started with TV parts, which included Opposite Sext, which he portrayed in 2000. In the following years, he appeared in numerous teens' films, including 2001's Not Another Teen Movie he was noticed for his performance of Marvel Comics characters such as the Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four and its sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans was featured in a variety of film adaptations of comics and graphic novels like TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009) as well as Snowpiercer (2013). Alongside his character as Steve Rogers/Captain America, Evans gained recognition through his appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2015) as well as Captain America: Civil War. Within the Marvel universe, his performance as Steve Rogers / Captain America made him the top-paid actor in the world.
