Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew growing up in Mexico in a family who was devoted to music. The music she grew up with was classical, old boleros as well as traditional romantic and Ranchero songs. Ana loves tangos as well the dramatic and opera performances. After singing with her mom at the age of 12, she took up more rigorous training in singing at 16 under the tutelage by renowned Mexican tenor FlavioBecerra. Her musical education continued through the School of Music of Guadalajara University, and then the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. While a young student and professional, she sang with numerous chamber ensembles and opera choruses in Guadalajara as well as Mexico City. After moving in the United States, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Then in 2002, she made her way to Southern California. She has performed solo Latin American music for private events and also as part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. Her passion for the performing arts, music, and the arts keep active in community projects for both an artist as well as a teacher. Ana was also a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana thank the Inland Master Chorale for the permission to sing traditional Latin American song.
